VISUALIZATION
Lost and Found
lost and found lost and found lost and found
Visualization is a method used to help people achieve their desired outcomes. The purpose is to obtain something in the future by imagining that you already have it now. Before anything is created it’s a simple thought first. By visualizing your desires you’re one step closer to achieving them.
Returning to your past is part of the Reunite with You journey, so when you utilize a visualization you aren’t just envisioning the future. The goal is to remember your genuine sense of self and bring it into the present moment. From there, picture or feel how you can integrate your identity so that it follows you into the future.
Use this visualization when you need to say goodbye to anything you’ve lost. Don’t let pain and negativity overcome you and prevent your happiness. Find the positive silver lining through what you’ve discovered and learned from within.

Do you want to let go of your past pain and focus on what you've gained?
Begin by thinking about a person or situation that’s brought you pain. Choose something that’s negatively affected or influenced you. It could be anything from a fight to an emotional breakup. You can reflect on any negative interaction that’s attached itself to your heart and mind. Anything that feels like a burden or hardship. Then concentrate on how it makes you feel internally. Does it feel like daggers in your heart, an emptiness in your stomach, or nails in your head? Allow yourself to fully envision and embrace the hurt or agony you feel inside.
Visualize the pain you feel like an opening or hole in your heart. It’s every negative thought, every tear, and every wish to go back in time to change the outcome. They all create a hole inside of you. Each painful memory that’s tied to the past makes a space inside of you that can’t be filled. This emptiness reminds you of what you’ve lost and how nothing can replace it.
Continue to picture the pain piercing through you and allow it to open you. Visualize how your emotional body would appear after being punctured by pain. Imagine your heart being exposed and opened -the wounds still raw. It’s in these powerless times that you’re most vulnerable and your holes are the most visible.

Now, envision light flooding through and saturating the pain holes. See the light surrounding and covering your wounds with love. You are being filled with the warmth of light and love, which causes the holes to glow. Picture in your mind the light chasing away the darkness -your pain. What was once a painful wound is now a point of entrance. Imagine the potential for positive purpose in these openings. The space allows for love to enter more easily. When you shine a light of love through the holes you’re able to see inside. When you look within, what you find can begin to make up for what was lost.
Visualize yourself, with your holes exposed, illuminated from the inside out. See the light pouring through the openings of your heart. This allows you to easily peer inside yourself and find new depths of you. You’re now able to discover some insight and knowledge about yourself you otherwise couldn’t find. Perhaps you find a new appreciation for yourself, gratitude for your friends and family, or confidence in what you want in a partner. There’s a positive purpose to pain. Without the holes you wouldn’t be able to learn the lessons from deep within.
It takes courage to face your pain head on and acknowledge the emptiness it leaves behind. But it takes even more courage to look inside those wounds to find the inner light. The more you can begin to look at pain as a lesson you’ve gained, the more you can look at loss in your life as a chance to find you. After some time passes, the pain begins to fade and the wounds begin to heal. But you’ll always keep the knowledge you’ve found.
