Know the Now

Before you can manifest what you want in life you need to recognize and find the “Now” moment. If you can never be completely happy or satisfied now, then chances are you’ll never be. To get where you want to be in life, it takes a certain peace of mind to know that the “Now” is all there is -and nothing you do can change that. Often times it’s the past lingering or the future nagging and telling you what you can or can’t do. But when you discover the “Now”, you’ll see that you have control over yourself and can use your personal power to bring what you want into your life.

To begin noticing the “Now”, start by bringing your awareness to the present moment. Practice this by allowing yourself to be fully immersed in the world around you. There should be numerous opportunities throughout your day, such as refraining from using any electronic devices during your commute to work or school. Challenge yourself by keeping your phone away when you’re in line somewhere, walking, or interacting with other people. Choose to be fully in the moment.

*Advanced* You can also decide to raise your awareness of the “Now” by going on a walk by yourself, with others, or your pet, and really look at the nature, buildings, and animals around you. Try taking mental pictures or describe what you’re seeing in your mind as if you’ll be tested on it or have to explain it to someone later. This exercise allows you to be present while still engaging with the world and your mind. The more you practice, the stronger the connection becomes which will help you to externalize your internal world through your control.
