Visualization is a method used to help people achieve their desired outcomes. The purpose is to obtain something in the future by imagining that you already have it now. Before anything is created it’s a simple thought first. By visualizing your desires you’re one step closer to achieving them. 

Returning to your past is part of the Reunite with You journey, so when you utilize a visualization you aren’t just envisioning the future. The goal is to remember your genuine sense of self and bring it into the present moment. From there, picture or feel how you can integrate your identity so that it follows you into the future.

Wherever you are at this moment, imagine that you’re surrounded by a huge bubble that encompasses your entire body. It doesn’t matter if you’re alone, on a crowded train, or walking down the street. In your mind create a translucent barrier where you’re protected within it. Your bubble can extend as far as you’d like and become any color or shape you wish. However, the key quality of your bubble is that it can’t physically keep anything out.

Your bubble may be unable to protect you physically, but what it can do is protect you mentally and emotionally. Recall a situation that hurt you, like when you had an argument with a friend, received negative criticism from your boss, or saw a destructive comment online. Remember how it felt to receive that negative energy and how it affected you. Maybe their words stuck in your mind and altered how you thought and felt about yourself. Or perhaps it created an anger inside of you which made you lash out and hurt someone else. The end result stays the same, more negativity.


Now imagine the same scenario, but instead visualize yourself in your bubble. See and feel their negativity and judgment flow from them to you, but allow your bubble to protect you. Envision the hurtful emotions coming towards you and let them bounce off of your bubble. Or you can imagine them as smoke and see them dissipate when they touch your bubble.

This bubble that you’re inside of prevents you from absorbing others negative energy that comes through their words, judgments, expectations, and actions. You don’t have to take in the negativity, you can remain strong and positive in yourself.

Utilize this visualization by using your bubble whenever unwanted or unwarranted negativity is directed your way. No one has the power to break your bubble and affect you unless you allow them to.
